Francisco ADaro
Biography
From the tender age of four or five, Adaro's artistic inclination was unmistakable. While he dabbled in odd jobs to make ends meet, his heart was steadfastly set on pursuing a professional career as an artist. As he honed his skills at La Salle art school in Buenos Aires, he discovered a love for mural painting, embellishing the city's walls with breathtaking narratives. To supplement his income, Adaro would also sketch and sell small drawings to the curious tourists who wandered the streets of his beloved city.
It was during one such encounter that fate intervened, weaving a tale of love and destiny. Brooke Gontarek, a traveler from the scenic 30A area, captured Adaro's heart, becoming both his muse and his wife. Drawn to the idyllic beauty of South Walton, the couple decided to establish their first art gallery, Adaro Art, a haven where Francisco's boundless creativity could flourish and captivate the imaginations of art enthusiasts.
Adaro's distinctive style is a fusion of sophistication and childlike wonder, a delightful juxtaposition that sets his work apart. Armed with traditional oil paints, he masterfully crafts compositions that breathe life into his subjects – be they people or animals – through exaggerated features that elicit smiles and joy. His figures, often characterized by reflective gazes and dreamy expressions, invite viewers to embrace the uncomplicated joys and moments of serenity that pepper our lives.
Inspiration flows abundantly from the artist's immediate surroundings: his adoring wife, Brooke, their two young children, and a menagerie of rescue pets. The whimsical presence of Speed bump the opossum, Salvador Doggie and Jetson the dogs, Pablo P-Cat-O the cat, Feta and Vincent van Goat the goats, Johnson and Johnson the white chickens, Pasta Mountain the rooster, and Cutie and Patootie the rescue squirrels grace his canvases, infusing them with warmth, love, and endless tales of companionship.
